Rebecca Feldherr

Rebecca Feldherr's work at Incite principally involved research and interviewing for the Obama Scholars Global Leadership Study and the Obama Presidency Oral History, as well as coordination of the Assembling Voices Fellows Program and the Oral History Summer Institute. With the Obama Presidency Oral History, she worked closely with the research team and she conducted outreach conversations to supplement information available in written records. She also contributed formal interviews to the collection, often concerning the interests of young people.
Rebecca is pursuing a Master of Science in International Development Studies at the London School of Economics. At Skidmore College ('20) she studied Sociology with an academic concentration in societal inequity and inequality in the context of race relations in the United States. Her Bachelor's thesis was awarded the Periclean Scholars Award and inquired into the legacy of slavery and political ideology as predictors of White racial resentment towards African Americans. In previous years, Rebecca engaged in research and advocacy work focused on criminal justice and education reform during her time at the Center for Advancing Opportunity in Washington, DC and at Johns Hopkins University.
