Research and Editorial Assistant for the Obama Presidency Oral History since 2020.
Coleman Sherry has spent four years with the Obama Presidency Oral History, building a comprehensive understanding of the collection’s contents and the original research undergirding it. His work has supported interviewers and project leadership alike and included developing web content and leading a small team of student staff in drafting metadata and summaries. He personally conducted half a dozen interviews on subjects such as sustainable development, sanctions, and energy policy.
Coleman graduated from Columbia College in 2021 with a major in History. His senior thesis explored the role of phrenology in the popular coverage of big business in the United States around the turn of the twentieth century.
