Cadence is a journalist, researcher, and editor interested in how science and technology intersect with power and culture. Cadence has fact-checked for outlets including Popular Science and Rolling Stone. She is also a co-founder of Hothouse, a media outlet covering climate solutions. Modeled after NPR’s Planet Money, Hothouse publishes investigative journalism about the climate.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Cadence previously interned at the Wisconsin State Journal, Business Insider, and Psychology Today.
