Lily Doron
Editorial Supervisor for the Obama Presidency Oral History 2022 to 2023, and former Research Fellow and Project Coordinator on the Human Rights Campaign Oral History Project.
Lily Doron began her work with Incite in 2019, first on the Human Rights Campaign Oral History Project as a Research Fellow and then as Project Coordinator. As Editorial Supervisor on the Obama Presidency Oral History from 2022 to 2023, Lily led the quality control and review process of all the interview transcriptions.
Previously, Doron was a Research Associate with Monument Lab; produced and edited “Wavemaker Conversations,” an interview-based podcast; and worked on oral history projects ranging from refugee migration and resettlement, to the fight for a fifteen-dollar minimum wage, to conflict resolution in Northern Ireland. Doron earned her Master’s in Oral History from Columbia University in 2021, where her thesis examined how storytelling practices in Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) impact AA members’ identity and self-understanding.
In 2017, Doron earned a BA in Ethics, Human Rights, and Documentary Narratives from Duke University.
