Henry Paulson

Henry "Hank" Paulson is an American government official and banker. He served as United States Secretary of the Treasury from 2006 to 2009, including during much of the critical period of the 2008 global financial crisis. Prior to his appointment as Treasury Secretary, Paulson was CEO of Goldman Sachs. Earlier in his career, he served in the Nixon administration's Department of Defense and White House. After leaving government, Paulson founded the Paulson Institute, which is dedicated to improving US-China relations.
